Trainer

ABU HASHIM BIN MOHD YASSIN

Encik Abu Hashim bin Mohd Yassin, a registered member of Malaysia Society For Occupational Safety & Health (MSOSH) and National Institute of Occupational Safety And Health (NIOSH).

He has a certified experience in a forklift Assessor from the Transport Training Center in Adelaide, Australia. He also has credited a certificate in Pedagogy Training from Center For Instructor and Advance Skill Training (CIAST). He had done training and assessing for NIOSH in FORKLIFT COMPETENCE in many areas in Malaysia, in house and public programs. He is also a Japan trained assessor for high tower crane, reach truck from the JAPAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNICAL ASSESSORS.

Encik Abu Hashim is a qualified assessor and technical trainer specializing in forklift, tower crane, reach truck, hand jerks and vehicles with the experience for almost 25 years servicing the local and multinational corporations.

With his technical knowledge and experience, he has conducted numerous forklift operations safety training, conducted competence test for forklift drivers, reach trucks operators, hand jerks, tower crane and vehicle drivers (cars and motorcyclist) in many years in the training field local and abroad.


FORKLIFT OPERATORS AND SAFETY TRAINING – 1 DAY or 2 DAYS

PROGRAM INTRODUCTORY

This is an in depth course on manual and mechanical forklift handling which designed to increased safety, motivation and productivity which helps to protect personnel, loads and equipment. It also delivers a through understanding on safety management and procedures in compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA, Act 514).

The course caters to train for both new or inexperience forklift operators and experienced operators for new skills and techniques. It covers both theoretical and practical instruction in a realistic environment for all types of forklifts.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

1. To deliver a better understanding for new recruits as well as veteran drivers on the

principles for safer forklift operation, the types and its operation procedures.

2. To emphasis on safety awareness towards the hazards in the workplace which arise from the use of forklift in accordance with the legal safety requirements under OSHA 1994 (Act 514) standard.

3. To educate and reveal the important issues that involve truck driving such as machines and technical knowledge, handling skills and the correct operational attitudes.

4. To assist operators in enable them to identify and avoiding risk from surrounding people and the safe guarded of the properties.

5. To motivate operators to become a well trained operators to perform better thus contributing in reducing the risk of damage to loads, equipments and in most cases of human injuries.

6. To produce a highly skilled forklift operators with safety practice to become the most valuable asset for the company’s mission achievement.
